Greater 2014

My Recommendation For a Greater 2014

ALIGN  ~  Make Decisions that Align with God’s Will

Scriptures teach us to seek God’s guidance in making decisions; we should pray for the answers to life’s questions.  I teach that we should aspire to carry out all our actions in accordance with God’s plan for our lives and to not become overly confident in our own abilities.  If we are not vigilant it is easy to allow self egotism give way to an over-inflated sense of self-assurance.

Remember that you cannot function without the guidance of the LORD.  Many of us start in the right way, seeking the guidance of the LORD.  And, as He promises, He guides our steps.   As we begin to develop a level of comfort that the LORD is with us, and is smiling upon our endeavors, we sometimes then begin to seek the LORD’s guidance less, and trust more in the confidence in our own hearts.

Don’t be misguided believing that you are in alignment with God’s will and are capable of making your own decisions.  We have been saved by grace, we are His chosen, and we live by the aid of His Holy Spirit.

Be assured that your decisions Align with God’s will, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5

EXPECT ~  High Expectations are not Unrealistic –

I recently read that, “If you do not have expectations, you can never be disappointed.”   My question is, is there anything more disappointing than being faithless?  Faith is a driving, motivating force that improves your reality.  Faith is a realm where God works with us in the supernatural, and every limitation becomes an opportunity to perform on a Holy level.

Hebrews chapter 11 shows what happens when you give a person of faith an empty canvas: they sketch the world.   Hebrews 11:14 says, People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own.

Once you have aligned your decisions with God’s will, you will forever please God with your faith.

ELEVATE ~  LORD Lift Me with the Joy of Thy Salvation—

David is Psalms 51:12 petitions the Great Shepherd for an increase, “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation.”   This will be one of the most elevating moments in David’s life.

You must come to realize that what God is about to release to you is more than the pie-in-the-sky, and it will exceed what is in the pot at the end of the rainbow.  Anyway, the last thing that you need is another earthly trinket weighing on you, forcing you to be enslaved to this world.

What we desire is, is to be released from bondage.  Elevate our mind, change how we think: past the pain that often cause our spirit to sink.

Have you ever wonder what fueled King David’s praise?  The way that I see it is this; David learned how to elevate his mind to a point of celebrating his soul.  Even though Christ had not yet come, David knew how to have life, and to have it more abundantly.

This year, you too, will elevate you mind, and celebrate your soul.
